If it seems like Chevrolet is raking in awards left and right for its vehicles, that’s because it is. The American carmaker recently broke a brand record in the number of awards given to its 2017 Chevrolet lineup. This number reached 18 earlier this month and was led by the all-new Chevrolet Bolt EV.
The Bolt EV offers an EPA-estimated 238 miles of range and an affordable starting price of $37,495, which is why it’s quickly become one of the most awarded vehicles in the industry. It not only earned a position on the 2017 Car and Driver 10Best Cars list, but was named the Best New Car to Buy by Green Car Reports, Green Car of the Year by Green Car Journal, and Best EV by Car Connection.
Among the other Chevrolet award recipients were the Camaro 1LE and Corvette Grand Sport, which were also named to the Car and Driver 10Best Cars list. Six other Chevy models earned Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy awards, while the Impala and Tahoe were also recognized as Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Award recipients.
Finally, the Hispanic Motor Press also named the Bolt EV, Camaro, and Colorado as the best vehicles in their segments.
