2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Off-Road

The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 is one of the most anticipated off-roading pickups to ever hit the market. The versatile model shipped out earlier this month, much to the pleasure of enthusiasts everywhere. Built on the standard Chevrolet Colorado, the new model brings plenty of advanced features designed to tackle the toughest terrain the world has to offer.

Price

Starting at $40,995, the Colorado ZR2 off-road pickup is more than $2,000 cheaper than the nearest competitor*. The new model rolls out on 31-inch off-road tires, a two-inch lifted suspension, and front and rear locking electronic differentials.

Specifications

Under the hood likes a 3.6-liter V6 engine comes mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and produces a thrilling 306 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. The available 2.8-liter turbo-diesel engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and delivers 186 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque.

Tech Features

The off-roading pickup is far from just brawn though. Inside, drivers will enjoy a standard rear vision camera, automatic cruise control, Chevrolet MyLink, and an eight-inch touchscreen.

“ZR2 is truly a segment of one and does everything well — from traversing heavy two-track trails to high-speed desert running and full-on rock crawling. We’re thrilled to be able to offer it for more than $2,500 less than the next closest comparable vehicles,” said Sandor Piszar, Chevrolet Trucks Marketing Director.

Take a Peek at the Upcoming 2018 Buick Regal

It wasn’t long ago that General Motors revealed the all-new Buick Regal to the cheers of enthusiasts around the world. The upcoming 2018 Buick Regal will be available in two body styles. Notably, the latest model bids farewell to the sedan body style, and instead, replacing it with a hatchback and station wagon.

The 2018 Buick Regal will feature the hatchback, called the Sportback, and station wagon, referred to as TourX. The two models will offer more utility without sacrificing the Regal’s sleek styling.

The Regal Sportback is the closest to the sedan, featuring a coupe-like roofline, low stance, and long styling. A hatch covers the cargo area, which executives hope to offer a greater challenge to competing crossovers.

The Regal TourX comes in closer to a crossover in design and features an athletic, rugged style that is likely to challenge models like the Subaru Outback and Audi A4 Allroad.

Excited drivers can look forward to the arrival of the new Regal at the end of 2017. The 2018 model will be made in Germany. While the Regal may be under an American brand, the primary target is China, where the consumers bought more than three times as many units compared to the United States market.

We here at Fairground Auto Plaza can’t wait for the upcoming 2018 Buick Regal!
